Use About:Crash to Manually Kill a Non-Loading Page in Chrome

When things go utterly wrong loading a page, Chrome lets you know with a somewhat iconic "Aw, Snap!" response. If you're tired of waiting for a page, you can speed things along by typing about:crash into your address bar and forcing the "Snap" page yourself.

Victor emailed us to let us know about forcing about:crash as a way of speeding up Chrome's decision about whether a page is loading or not. We'd previously mentioned about:crash and other "about" codes, but didn't realize it worked when facing actual pages that weren't coming up. Thanks for the tip, Victor!
