"Like" Our Newly Less-Robotic Facebook Page

We may earn a commission from links on this page.

Facebook—it's not just for auto-headlines anymore. Not since our editors started hand-loading our articles into Facebook, giving us a chance to explain our links a bit better. Follow us on Facebook and see what we mean.

About a week ago, we made the decision to stop using automatic Facebook post generation. It was convenient, sure, but it left readers with captions that were unnecessarily short, and a post selection somewhat dictated by whatever we decided was a "Top" item.

We've recently been getting, shall we say, more social, adding our own Twitter and Facebook links. We think it makes Lifehacker a better presence in your Facebook stream. We're also starting to post a bit more to our individual Lifehacker author pages, and after last week's events, we're also going to make an effort to be more active in the comments. In other words, we're all trying to be a bit more like Whitson.

So give Lifehacker a try in your Facebook news feed by hitting the Like button at our page. Or do it right below with a handy widget. Thank you, too, for letting us occasionally get shameless with our self-promotion.
