Clicking the send bookmarklet saves the URL, clicking the receive bookmarklet loads it. It isn't intended for heavy bookmark synchronization, but for the times you want to save exactly what you're looking at and then open it up later to read on your commute or when you get home, it's an extremely simple and fast solution.
