By default, iOS is limited to pages of apps. While you can place them in folders to keep a neatly organized homescreen, the page and folder options can sometimes be a little slow. Two jailbreak apps, Infiniboard and Infinidock, help to solve that problem by letting both your homescreen and dock scroll infinitely to hold as many apps as you want.
UPDATE! It turns out I was wrong in the video and both apps are $1 each. For some reason I didn't get charged for Infiniboard, despite never having downloaded it before. Go figure. Sorry for the confusion!
The video above demonstrates how simple this process is, but here's a basic rundown:
- Open Cydia and search Infiniboard. Install that, then do the same for Infinidock (if you want both). Cydia will need to restart SpringBoard (the app that displays your home screen) after each installation.
- Once you're done, try scrolling your dock horizontally or your home screen vertically. You'll notice you can move around a bit more than before. Add a few icons to the home screen and when they start to overflow, you'll notice that you can scroll down to see them all on the same page. The same goes for your dock, only horizontally.
That's all you have to do. Enjoy!
