Google links publishers directly with advertisers

Google's advertising folks have announced the ability for publishers to sign up advertisers directly.

The company said the new feature, known as Onsite Advertiser Sign-up, will help Web site publishers connect with a wider range of small advertisers when using Google's behind- the-scenes ad management system.

This offers many more options to the Web publisher currently using Google's system.
