Google's rolling out a Recipes search filter into its web results, allowing last-minute dinner finders to sort by ingredients, cooking time, and calories, and using recipe sites' own internal language to bring out the recipe you're hoping to find.
It's not available for everyone yet, and Google's own blogs haven't made a peep yet, but Wired has an interview with Google engineers. In short, it's an interesting attempt to use XML language and tagging to create a better recipe search, one that should be better able to drill down to exactly the ingredients and results you're looking for. Google won't show the recipes on its results page, but can do just enough filtering to get you there.
