The hack basically consists of taking two salad bowls and attaching them together with the speaker parts inside, adding a clasp to hold them together while allowing them to be re-opened for battery replacement purposes. Charles did much of the work in his car, parked outside of the hardware store, to avoid multiple trips. It's both a cool project and an efficient way of getting it done.
