@flyingwolf: I haven't gotten into reloading yet, although I'm seriously considering it. (I think the ammo in question looks reloaded because it's super-super cheap bargain basement .22 ammo.) Read more

@flyingwolf: That's a mean game. In high school we used to snap them off and play a game where you'd zap the crap out of a quarter with them (sending it flying across the table as part of the game) .... those things put out enough of a zap that they'd scar up and pit the surface of the quarter. @Pimanrules: A case? I wish. With ammo prices as high as they are I'd love for a case to just magically appear in the office. Read more

@Daniel Yu Suzuki: Interesting idea! If you're worried about being shocked you could always twist off the large capacitor on the camera logic board (play it safe by discharging it against the ground before throwing it away!) Read more

@d00msay3r3: I hear you. I love portable apps. I keep all mine in my Dropbox folder so my entire portable workflow can be dumped onto a new machine in a matter of minutes, flash drive on hand or not. Read more

@Posco Grubb: I can understand the business expense thing, sure. @Posco Grubb: Unless the postage somehow came to be $87.75 instead of $5.75.... regardless of whether or not your host said they would cover the total cost of the postage is beside the point. Asking somebody who put you up for almost a month for the extra $1.75 is really tacky. Read more

@Outtacontext: While that's a functional solution for the issue of highlights that doesn't help with the biggest problem that direct flash produces: flat lighting and exageration of negative features like baggy eyes, wrinkles, etc. Read more

@38thsignal: It definitely has an American slant.... I can't speak for everyone, of course, but in general Americans like to be able to look/find for themselves instead of appearing "annoying" by pestering their hosts. Read more

@greenprell: Place it in multiple places like it would move on it's own from one designated spot to the next or like the text you type would appear in both designated spots at the same time? Read more

@neoliminal: Grab a copy of Phrase Express portable. I sync my phrases file to Dropbox and keep a copy on my flash drive too. Read more

@shazaam42: I'm using Phrase Express (the portable version) without any problems in Windows 7 64. You might want to give that a shot. Read more
