@sirmeili: I'm sure you can spend a mint on a fancy one. I bought a $15 semi-automatic pitter that was on sale for $8 and I've been quite pleased with it. In the hour you spent pitting you could easily have pitted all those cherries and started a recipe using them. Read more
@sundae1888: That was the only unitasker in my kitchen I could really come up with... there is no substitute for a simple cherry pitter. It's so simple to use and does such a great job. You can pit cherries other ways, but not as cleanly or quickly. Read more
