@Ninety-9: Nope. It still has Sense UI, although the bottom buttons as you'll see in the screenshot here aren't rounded in an arc shape like they are on the stock Hero ROM. Other than the lack of rounded edges on the bottom navigation bar it's the same (and better!) than the stock ROM.
Upgrading from 1.6 to 2.1 is awesome. I recently used the Fresh ROM to upgrade my Sprint Hero to 2.1 since I got tired of Sprint promising the 2.1 upgrade "next month" since last year some time. Read more
