I have to say, after the NewsGator change I've gone back to Google Reader, it's been totally working out! The social features are vastly improved, as is the stability of the subscription management page. Romance: Rekindled. Read more

@LastVigilante: Okay, I came in second in the fifth grade spelling bee for adding one too many s's to "business." I went on to make district finals the next year! (Only to lose on "coronet," incidentally.) Read more

@Deprong Mori: Note the focus on shoes and accessories, not "Hollywood ingenues." For that, look into androids and cloning. Ahem. Read more

@Fried_Brain_Cells: I truly apologize if anyone was injured because I didn't inspect closely enough for any possible nudity. I don't usually make that mistake. Read more

@SupritiFrocket: I kinda figured, tried not to play it either way. (After all, this is Milton Friedman's San Francisco, so who knows?) It's already an awesome research tool for urban ecologists. Read more

@2-7offsuit: I found the closest apartment in my hood anywhere near my price range — a couple blocks down Columbus. The red-checked tablecloth fare and adult entertainment probably hurt the score, but hey, more for me. Read more

@atanguay: Yeah, the old animated logo interstitials were some of the best bits of MTV. Where'd I put that Fairlight and that Video Toaster? Read more

@SilentZoom: Okay, that's terrifically useful. Caps lock as a keyboard-layout shift for extended roman character sets is genius (especially since it's easily cross-platform). Read more

@goodywitch: No, I'm pretty sure when you add files to WMP or even iTunes with the default settings, a copy will be made in the default format. The original will be left undisturbed — to take up more space — while the converted copy is the one you get stuck listening to. Read more

@KStrike155: I've actually had spotty reports of how well FairUse4WM works on the latest versions of Windows Media Player 11. In my own experience, I had to install a regressive downgrade of Media Player 9 or 10 and then run FU4WM after re-running the keys or what have you, though that was a few months ago. Read more

@QuiterieQuadratus: @QamraBabararacucudada: I'm gonna have to go with my grandmother on this one — she had a shaker of "savory salt" (AKA MSG in a grocery store form factor) on hand at all times. And she was Baptist-blessed besides. Irrationally, I can but see it all as harmless. Read more

Alright, alright, I'll admit that there is little artistry in the final result. But I wasn't aiming for artistry, I was aiming for a punch-up — and fast. You haven't been through hell until you've edited thousands upon thousands of images of bedspreads and furniture, trust me. Read more
