Ever preview a song in iTunes and have the playback stop just before the killer chorus? For songs longer than two minutes and 30 seconds, iTunes is extending song previews to 90 seconds. Not for every artist and album, at least at the moment, and only in the U.S. store, but Apple stated in a letter to record companies that keeping their music in the Store would equate to agreement with 90-second previews, so the longer previews seem to be pushing forward.
