Not too long ago we showcased some interesting facts about the penis, so it's only fitting that we share some great vagina facts as well; including why you can't really "lose" anything in there, and the fact that vaginas are great at self cleaning.

It's surprising how many people don't know that the vagina is a self-cleaning organ, and that the myriad of products designed to "clean" it often do far more harm than good (make no mistake, there are situations where they're necessary, but your doctor is best to advise you there—not an advertisement) and can cause everything from yeast infections to inflammation or allergic reactions. As far as losing anything up there, the video above explains that the cervicalopening, under most circumstances, is far too small to allow anything to pass though—and if it did, you'd know it—so you don't have to worry about that. Getting something stuck though—that's a whole other matter, we're afraid.
