@paschott: Depending on the USB drive it's either equal to or better than a drive load. You really see the benefit with games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When I load from the DVD you can actually hear the disc seeking and grinding away when you load a new match. With the HDD it's almost instant. Read more
