@Twanzio: I've never updated my Wii. Why bother? It starts, the games play, and I don't buy anything from the Wii Shopping Channel or other frequently-updated items. Read more

@paschott: Depending on the USB drive it's either equal to or better than a drive load. You really see the benefit with games like Super Smash Bros. Brawl. When I load from the DVD you can actually hear the disc seeking and grinding away when you load a new match. With the HDD it's almost instant. Read more

@n00ge: Not only does he share the link to begin with but he follows up with a fix to the only problem we encountered. You're a couch-surfing Jedi. Read more

@JohanPaladin: It works for me but it's loading realllllly slowly. It's unusual for Make to have any issues with the traffic we throw their way so I'm going to assume it's something between their servers and some of us? Read more

The best reason to follow me is for all the random stuff I post on Twitter that would never make it on my to-do list for Lifehacker proper. Read more

@Mark 2000: "Bettas are anabantoids, which means they can breathe atmospheric air thanks to a unique organ called the labyrinth. This accounts for their ability to thrive in low-oxygen water conditions that would kill most other fish, such as rice paddies, slow-moving streams, drainage ditches, and large puddles." Read more

@Wolfess: I have three tanks and four very curious cats and none of them have ever gained access to the fish tanks. Read more

@Dean Hamer: I thought about getting into planted tanks but I wasn't sure if talking plants was beyond the scope of a starter tank. I love a well planted tank but it's a bit of a challenge for a new comer. Read more
