@cha0tic: Yeah, ok, this sounds right. It's totally easy to fake a MAC address (see the post, it's a simple macchanger command) and totally simple to see AP's that don't broadcast their SSID. Not much of a leap to monitor and find the right MAC addresses to spoof. Read more
