You tell me you’re supposed to dedicate at least one of them to preventing your tiny tots from getting swept into a sea of giants all day long? A Japanese dad named Kentaro Morita is over that life, and has created a clever accessory to make getting from point A to B a little bit easier.
It’s a train-style handle that hangs from his belt. Morita’s 4-year-old son can hold onto it any time he needs him to stay close—on trains, at festivals or in airports, perhaps. He tweeted a photo of it in action. Oh my goodness, that little hand.
One Twitter user pointed out that a Japanese shop called CodomonoCoto sells something similar—it can be attached to a belt, handbag or backpack. You can certainly fashion your own kid handle with some webbing strap, a slide and a plastic or wood ring. Hang on, kid. It’s time to go.
