Starbucks’ online store is shutting down October 1, but don’t mourn—their clearance sale is cause for celebration. (You’ll also still be able to buy branded mugs and whatnot in stores.)
Business Insider reports that Starbucks is closing its online store, shifting to an online retail model built on “commercial partnerships” instead. In anticipation of the shift, mugs, presses, and other brewing accessories are up to half off.
The best deals aren’t the logo-stamped mugs or trio of Starbucks cup Christmas tree ornaments—why?—or even the half-off Swarovski-embellished steel tumbler for $62.48—why???—though the latter will at least get you past the $50 minimum for free shipping.
Instead, take this opportunity to treat yourself to some elegant brewing paraphernalia. A swank slow-drip cold brewer is 30% off, as is the Bodum glass teapot. If you want to keep things practical, a programmable Cuisinart coffee maker for $62.97 is pretty hard to beat.
